My name is Dan Katz (Barstool Big Cat), and I love coffee. A lot. What started as a passion quickly became a lifeline—especially after becoming a father of three. I was drinking so much coffee that I figured, why not create something I truly love? A blend that stands on its own, just as great coffee should. Crafted from 100% Arabica, Rainforest Alliance Certified beans, I personally selected every roast to deliver unrivaled taste—smooth, bold, and made for those who love coffee as much as I do.

But Stella Blue is more than just great coffee—it’s about giving back. I named the brand after my rescue dog, Stella, who has been by my side through everything. She came from PAWS Chicago, and she inspired our mission: to help more dogs find their forever homes. Introducing We Brew to Rescue — a nationwide campaign using proceeds from our new ready-to-drink cans to cover the adoption fees for 1,000 pets this year.

Starting this month, 100% of the gross profits from Stella Blue RTD can sales will go towards this pledge, until Stella Blue has funded 1,000 pet adoptions. Every can you crack open contributes to helping a real pet find a real home. Simple as that.

The “We Brew to Rescue” campaign will support numerous shelters and animal rescue organizations around the country, including PAWS Chicago and Mutt Fund, reinforcing our long-term commitment to pet adoption initiatives nationwide. Dan "Big Cat" Katz, also known as Barstool Big Cat, started working at Barstool in 2012. Through relentless blogging and podcasting, Dan, along with the other original members of the company, helped grow Barstool Sports under Dave Portnoy to the point where it was purchased, and moved to New York City in 2016. Dan returned to Chicago to lead the Barstool Chicago office in 2023. Dan's influence has been all over Barstool Sports for the past decade, most notably as the co-host of the number 1 sports podcast, Pardon My Take with PFT Commenter.
